HaS Care
When facing illness, patients often feel as if the world has gone dark,
becoming overwhelmed by emotions such as anxiety and fear. Such anxiety
and fear weaken the innate power we all possess to heal illness — our natural
healing power and self-healing power.
At HaS Shimabukuro Clinic, we provide a "new form of medical care"
with the following principles:
1. "Medical Care that Inspires Excitement"
We believe it is essential for patients to take an active role in their
treatment, so they themselves can feel: "Receiving this treatment
is strengthening my natural healing power, and I truly sense that my illness
can be healed — that I can heal it."
This is because deciding on a treatment plan together while patients feel
a sense of excitement is crucial for drawing out the body's "natural
healing power."
2. "Medical Care that Reflects on True Happiness"
The primary aim of modern medicine is "to cure illness." This
is, of course, important — yet death comes to everyone in the end.
We believe that human happiness is found in "laughing well, living
well, walking a good life, and meeting a good death," and in "recognizing
the immune system that resides within us (the power to heal illness), being
grateful for it, and each person fully drawing on it."
Walking beside patients and their families — who are easily consumed by
anxiety — and offering emotional support (dōgyō ninin, "two travelers
as one"), helping not only through the process of overcoming illness
but also toward the happiness that lies beyond, is what we feel to be the
ultimate goal of HaS Shimabukuro Clinic.
